You know the answer. Can you get it out before the minute ends? EK SECOND! brings quick questions, familiar references and a few on-the-spot challenges to your next gathering.

Players: 2–15 players. Play individually, casually, or in two or three teams of at least two.

What’s in the box: 250 cards with 500 prompts. Bring a phone timer and something to keep score; no cowbell or timer is included.

How to play

For scored play, start one continuous 60-second timer when the first card is revealed. The reader reads each prompt exactly as written, and only the selected answerer responds. A correct answer scores +1, a pass scores −1, and a card unfinished at the alarm scores 0. A misread costs the reader 1 point, or their team 1 point in team play. Rotate roles and give everyone equal turns; the highest score wins. Casual play can be untimed and unscored.

  • Laughing at how the easiest answer disappears the moment the timer starts.
  • The answer coming back to you just in time for a triumphant “I KNOW THIS ONE!”
