Choose a host to read prompts, run a phone timer and judge answers. Everyone else splits into Team Deewane and Team Mastane.
Choose two singers per team—or three for bigger groups. Use the same number on both sides. Rotate singers between cards so everyone gets a turn.
Agree on how many lines each turn requires: three, or more if you wish. Use the same requirement for both teams. First team to collect seven cards wins. Want a longer game? Agree on a higher target before you start.
Choose who starts the first card. Alternate the starting team after every card.

Listen to the prompt. Your ten seconds begin only after the host finishes reading.

Discuss with your group. You must start singing WITHIN 10 seconds.

The host stops the timer when singing starts. Complete three consecutive lines—or your agreed higher number. Sing solo, together or take over from each other: the required lines are total between your singers, not per person. Repeating the same line three times doesn’t count.

The other team gets a fresh ten seconds and must start singing WITHIN 10 seconds. Once they start a different song for the same prompt, the host stops the timer. They complete the agreed consecutive lines while your team listens silently.

The first team gets another fresh ten seconds, then sings a different song matching the same prompt. The host stops the timer when they start. Everyone else listens as they complete the agreed lines—and the battle continues.
While the other side sings, think silently. Save group discussion for your own ten seconds.
Think silently. No talking, whispering or planning with your group.
Discuss with your group and begin singing before the timer runs out.
Anyone in your face-off group can help complete the required lines.
Cheering is welcome, but no suggesting songs or helping with lyrics.
The opposing team wins the card if your group:
Rotate singers, switch the starting team and reveal the next card.
Want a longer game? Agree on a higher target before you start.
For word prompts, the word must appear in the actual lines sung. For letter or sound prompts, use the song’s opening. Small lyric slips are okay if the song is recognizable. The host makes the final call; give singers the benefit of the doubt when uncertain.
200 cards. 400 prompts. Plenty of “wait, I know this one!” moments.
